About this experience
The Indigenous Heritage Month DEI training offers an engaging and eye-opening exploration of Indigenous and Native American communities. Through this interactive experience, attendees will trace the narratives that shaped political policies and led to devastating actions, all while gaining a deeper appreciation of Indigenous contributions. The session includes a live-streamed tour of the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park, with over 12,000 years of continuous habitation. Led by two Indigenous scholars—one from the Atakapa-Ishak Nation and one from the Cherokee Nation—this is a unique opportunity to learn from leading voices in Indigenous history and culture.
